Gary Harvey is a local award winner quilter, known for his ruler work when longarm quilting. He will talking to the group about ruler work, molds, templates, bobbin work, and other quilting techniques. Gary is also a Commissioner for the Glass City Quilt Commission.
Bring your Challenge Quilts for Project Linus!
Prizes will be awarded for the top three quilts.

The Meeting will be held at Holland Free Methodist Church, 6605 Angola Road, Holland, Ohio 43528 at 7:00 pm. Doors open at 6:30 pm. There is a $5.00 guest fee for non-members.
The Gathering of Quilters is a long standing local organization founded in 1982. It promotes the art and craft of quilting, with membership open to any person interested in quilts and quilt making.
Meetings are held eight time a year, on a school year calendar: September, October, November, January, February, March, April, and May. September is the first meeting. Meetings generally include a featured speaker, a short business meeting, various raffles, and Show & Tell.
Current membership encompasses Northwestern Ohio and Southeastern Michigan and is more than 80 members strong.

Visitors/Guests may attend a meeting for $5.
To further the mission of the church, members are asked to bring non-perishable items to the meeting for donation to the church.
